Comfortable but noisy |

I was trying to replace a very thin mattress for a bassinet that was given to me. While this mattress is nice and thick, the cover on it is very noisy! Also, my bassinet is a 'squoval' shape, so I ended up cutting the square edges to make them round. All in all, I ended up cutting the vinylcover off and rounding the edges and it works great after that.

I looked everywhere until I found this 2" mattress pad. Was worried that it was going to be too big but after placing it into the Bassinet it was a perfect, snug fit. I ordered the 16 x 32 to use as a thicker replacement pad for an Eddie Bauer rocker bassinet. I really didn't care for the original with the little hood attachment on it anyways. So don't hesitate to use one of these if your looking for one that will fit your Eddie Bauer Bassinet.

The flimsy mattress pad that came with our bassinet had become all warped after being used for our first 2 sons and then being stored away. I decided to start looking for a new one for our third baby, and was so thrilled when I found this one ! Customer service was so friendly to deal with and it arrived in record time. It fit perfectly! Our Bassinet has been in our family for 73 years. My son's baby is the 4th generation to use it. The mattress was old and musty and we could not find a replacement that would fit it. This mattress fit perfectly and will be easy to clean. All the items I ordered were perfect. I gave the heirloom wicker bassinet a new coat of child-safe paint.
I was the first baby to use the bassinet and I am 67. My mother kept a list of all the babies who use
it. The liner and mattress fit perfectly. The sheets seem soft and durable. Our second grandson is due
in two months and he will have a cozy place to sleep when he comes to visit.

Our bassinet is 60-plus years old so it was difficult to find a mattress the exact size. This one was "coaxed" a little and having a sheet with elastic borders helped to fit it into the bottom. This was the third and final mattress purchased, the other two were not even close even though the measurements given were the same. Very pleased.

I ordered the wicker bassinet from here & had the cover made so I wasn't sure when I ordered it if I should get the mattress separately because it came with a foam pad. I ended up deciding to order this mattress & it is great, much better than the foam pad that comes with the wicker bassinet--the foam pad is 1 inch & this mattress is 2 inches..I didn't think it would make a big difference but it did! Definitely worth it & it's a great price--I couldn't find another mattress that fit the bassinet for this price anywhere.

Our son sleeps very well on this bassinet mattress. Its firm and he feels comfortable on it. The only thing I was concern about was the chemical smell which it still has, but it seems that the baby isn't bothered by it and we just change the mattress sheets often to have them smell fresh.

i like this mattress pad inside of my co sleeper, it does leave gaps on the sides, but with my first son this happened also and we just rolled receiving blankets in the gaps and put sheets over it, the baby never had a problem, as little ones dont move that much anyways when they sleep. i hope when my new son arrives in april of 2009, that it will work just as great as the first mattress pad i had, which was not this same one. but these are no longer sold in stores that i can find.. so we will see.

Mattress is well made and very comfortable. We needed a replacement for thin pad that came with bassinet. This was well worth the price.

Perfect and arrived quickly |

I had purchased the bassinet my daughter wanted available online only from Babies R Us. When it arrived the mattress was about 1/2 inch thick. Babies R Us did not carry online or stores a mattress large enough to fit nor did the manufacturer of the bassinet carry a thicker mattress. This fit perfectly and arrived very quickly. She and I were very pleased with product and service
